What kind of data we collect and why
TriggerFood enables users to track and their diet and health symptoms online in order to find patterns between diet and symptoms.
The type of data TriggerFood collects may include:
- Diet information, including when foods were eaten and what ingredients they had
- Symptoms experienced, including severity and timing
Cookies are required to use the TriggerFood service. TriggerFood uses two types of cookies: Session Cookies, and Persistent Cookies. Session Cookies are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the Website. Session cookies do no store any personally identifying information, only a unique visitor ID number that we can use to customize the TriggerFood functionality for you. Persistent Cookies remain in the cookie file of your browser for much longer, even after you leave the TriggerFood website. Persistent cookies do no store any personally identifying information, only preferences that should persist from visit to visit, like "Remember Me".
Personally Identifiable Information
We collect Personally Identifiable Information, like your email address you provide to us when you sign up for a TriggerFood account and/or when you update your member profile. We use the Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to respond to your questions, provide you the specific services you select, send you emails about Web site maintenance and updates, and inform you of significant changes to this Privacy Policy.
TriggerFood will never rent, sell or share information that personally identifies you for marketing purposes.
